This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and non-refundable fees are handled for bookings made through PlayMyGame Booking.
Each host sets their own cancellation window and refund eligibility period for their sessions. Refund requests are assessed based on the cancellation policy configured by the host at the time of booking.
The applicable cancellation policy will always be shown before payment is completed.
All bookings include a Platform Service Fee for use of the app and booking platform, plus a Payment Processing Fee charged by Stripe or another payment provider.
These fees are non-refundable once a booking has been successfully processed, including when a session refund is approved.
This is because the platform service has already been provided and payment processing fees are charged immediately by the payment provider and are not returned to the platform.
If a cancellation qualifies for a refund under the host’s cancellation policy, users will receive a refund of the net session amount only. Platform fees and payment processing fees are deducted and remain non-refundable.
Example:
Users who fail to attend a booked session without cancelling within the allowed cancellation period may not be eligible for any refund.
If a host cancels a session, the session amount will be refunded in accordance with platform policy.
Platform and processing fees may also be refunded at the platform’s discretion in cases where the session did not occur.
Approved refunds may take 2–10 business days to appear in the original payment method, depending on the payment provider and bank processing times.
